Armenian Government to issue a bill to cover Central Bank's loss
ArmInfo. The Armenian Government is going to issue an ordinary non-interest-bearing bill worth 106.2bln AMD so as to cover the 8bln AMD loss registered by the Central Bank in 2013.
Armenia's Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan says that the bill will replace the previous bill worth 98.2bln AMD (issued in Sept 2013 to cover the CB's loss for 2012). Once the CB receives the bill, it will have to give back the previous sum (98.2bln AMD).
In Aug 2011 the Finance Ministry gave the CB a 77.5bln AMD bill so it could cover its loss for 2011.
