ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, HSBC Bank Armenia, Ameriabank, VTB Bank (Armenia) and Ardshininvest pay 54.28% of all taxes paid by Armenian banks


ArmInfo. Siranush Manucharyan. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, HSBC Bank Armenia, Ameriabank, VTB Bank (Armenia) and Ardshininvestbank paid 54.28% of all taxes paid by Armenian banks in Jan-June 2014. In Jan-June 2013 their share was 53.79%. According to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, the list of Armenia's 1,000 biggest taxpayers for Jan-June 2014 includes all 21 Armenian banks, with ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, HSBC Bank Armenia and Ameriabank being in the top 20.

ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is the 16th with 2.703bln AMD (2.636bln AMD in income and profit taxes), HSBC Bank Armenia is the 17th with 2.472bln AMD (2.294bln AMD), Ameriabank is the 19th with 2.42bln AMD (2.37bln AMD), VTB Bank (Armenia) is the 23rd with 2.21bln AMD (2.05bln AMD), Ardshininvestbank is the 33rd with 1.65bln AMD (1.61bln AMD).

INECOBANK is the 37th with 1.51bln AMD (1.50bln AMD), Unibank is the 46th with 1.25bln AMD (1.14bln AMD), Armbusinessbank is the 57th with 1bln AMD (905.7mln AMD), Araratbank is the 66th with 903.09mln AMD (878.6mln AMD), Armeconombank is the 81st with 790.98mln AMD (760.58mln AMD), Converse Bank is the 93rd with 718.21mln AMD (647.56mln AMD),

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is the 104th with 603.76mln AMD (556.83mln AMD), Armswissbank is the 113th with 535.58mln AMD (528.14mln AMD), Prometey Bank is the 115th with 528.68mln AMD (515.89mln AMD), Armenian Development Bank is the 125th with 472.97mln AMD (467.72mln AMD), Anelik Bank is the 129th with 454.55mln AMD (433.50mln AMD), ProCredit Bank is the 154th with 355mln AMD (282.49mln AMD), Byblos Bank Armenia is the 246th with 229.14mln AMD (213.66mln AMD), Artsakhbank is the 484th with 110.60mln AMD (92.79mln AMD) and BTA Bank is the 495th with 107.85mln AMD (104.36mln AMD).

In Jan-June 2014 Armenia's banks paid in taxes a total of 21.111bln AMD (including 20.066bln AMD in income and profit taxes).

According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Armenia's Banks, in Jan-June 2014 the profit of the banks made up 23bln AMD (14% less than in Jan-June 2013), with the net profit being 17.8bln AMD.
