ArmInfo. As many as 14 out of 32 operating credit companies were included in the list of the 1000 biggest taxpayers in Armenia for the first half of 2014. In particular, 13 universal credit organizations (UCO) and a leasing company paid a total of 2.69 billion drams to the state budget, including 2.48 mln drams in terms of the profit tax and income tax.
According to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, Finca UCO is the leader among other credit companies. It is on the 101st position with 611.52 mln drams payments to the state budget (including 532.4 mln drams in terms of profit and income taxes). Then goes Aregak UCO - 159th position with 346.26 mln drams (including 339.39 mln drams in terms of profit and income taxes). Kamurj UCO is on the 181st position with 300.14 mln drams (278.1 mln drams, respectively). Norvik UCO is on the 218th position with 258.61 mln drams (257.24 mln drams, respectively). The last among top five credit companies in terms of tax payments is Affordable Housing for Young Families UCO - 229th position with 245.25 mln drams tax payments, including 244.69 mln drams in terms of income and profit taxes. Sef International UCO was on the 266th position with 206.06 mln drams (201.02 mln drams), ACBA Leasing Company was on the 331st position with 166.13 mln drams (80.51 mln drams). National Mortgage Company UCO was the 440th with 123.32 mln drams (122.77 mln drams), FAST Credit Capital UCO is the 621st with 83.09 mln drams (79.48 mln drams), and Card-Agrocredit UCO is the 643rd with 79.61 mln drams (78.58 mln drams). As of 1 July 2014, there were 32 operating credit companies in Armenia, including 29 UCO, 3 leasing companies and a credit union. According to the Ranking of Armenian Credit Companies prepared by ArmInfo, the balance profit of the credit companies for the first half of 2014 totaled 4.5 bln drams with an 8.2 year-over-year growth. Net profits totaled 3.7 mln drams with a 7.2 year-over-year growth. Five credit companies suffered 219.6 mln drams losses for the period under review. The remaining 27 credit companies received a total of 4.018 bln drams profits. The credit companies paid nearly 650 mln drams profit tax to the state budget for the first half of 2014.
