Areximbank-Gazprombank Group joins Armenian Converse Transfer payment and settlement system
Arminfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said has started making international remittances without account opening through joining the Armenian Converse Transfer payment and settlement system. As press-service of the bank reported, the Converse Transfer system allows receiving remittances in Armenian drams, US dollars, euros and Russian rubles. The commission fee is 1% of the amount transferred.
According to the bank, the Converse Transfer system allows sending and receiving instant money transfers throughout Armenia, as well as receiving remittances from the CIS and Georgia.
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group also makes international money transfers without account opening via MONEYGRAM, ANELIK, UNISTREAM, AVERS, INTELEXPRESS, SIGUEMONEYTRANSFER , RIAMONEYTRANSFER systems, as well personal money transfers without account opening via Gazprom-Express from Russia to Armenia, as well as instant money transfers between Russia and Armenia through ATMs.
To note, in November 2007 OJSC "Gasprombank" purchased 80% of shares of the Armenian Areximbank, established in 1998. In 2008 the share of the "Gasprombank" grew up to 94,15%, and in September 2008 Gasprombank purchased the rest 5,85% of shares and became the owner of 100% shares of the CJSC "Areximbank - Gazprombank-Group".
