Armenian Central Bank warns: Don't deal with Ross Group CJSC to avoid fraud


ArmInfo. Central Bank of Armenia urges the citizens not to deal with Ross Group CJSC not to fall a victim to fraud, the Central Bank press-office told ArmInfo.

According to CB's data and media reports, Ross Group CJSC has posted ads in public areas in Yerevan offering assistance to the population in repayment of loans. The Central Bank studied the ads and the contract offered to customers and arrived at a conclusion that the 'services' offered by Ross Group CJSC are nothing but fraud. In particular, the company promises to redeem the loans of the citizens in exchange for a payment in the amount of 20%-30% of their loans. The Central Bank warns that the citizens who use the services of Ross Group CJSC may not only lose their funds, but also provide their personal data to a doubtful company. To protect the rights of the citizens who may suffer from dealing with that company will be quite hard, the Central Bank warns.
