At Q1-end of 2015 the Armenian insurance companies have paid 457.4 million AMD taxes (including 437.7 million AMD income and profits taxes), which is by 27.7% less than a year ago.
According to the State Revenues Committee's data, all six insurance companies in Armenia have got shortlisted along with 1000 major taxpayers of the country. "Rosgosstrakh Armenia" is the leading insurance company and holds place 147 paying 168.7 mln AMD to the state budget (including 166.4 mln AMD income and profits taxes). "INGO Armenia" comes 274th and has paid 88.3 mln AMD (including 80.5 mln income and profits taxes). "Armenia Insurance" comes 378th paying 84 mln AMD (60.9 mln income and profits taxes).
Then come "RESO" - 454th place - paying 51.9 mln AMD (50.7 mln income and profits taxes), "Sil Insurance" - 487th place - paying 47.4 mln AMD (44.6 mln income and profits taxes). "Nairi Insurance" holds the 604th place and has paid 37 mln AMD (34.5 mln income and profits taxes).
According to the Financial Rating of Armenian Insurance Companies prepared by ArmInfo, the aggregate accumulated profits of the insurance companies of Armenia for Q1 2015 totaled 2.3 bln AMD with a 73.6% year over year growth. Armenia Insurance comes first - 2 bln AMD. Nairi Insurance - 688.6 mln AMD, Rosgosstrakh Armenia - 323.8 mln AMD, INGO Armenia - 195.5 mln AMD. Sil Insuranc and RESO have accumulated losses - 372.2 mln and 572.3 mln AMD, respectively.
The Central Bank's exchange rate for Mar 31 2015 was 471.13 drams per 1 US dollar.
