Yerevan. In Jan-Jun 2015, the nonfood prices in Armenia grew by 4.1% (up 5.7% as compared with Jan-Jun 2014). The Armenian National Statistical Service has told ArmInfo that in June 2015 the nonfood prices fell by 0.6% (up 7% versus June 2014).
In June 2015, the petroleum prices remained unchanged, while diesel fuel rose in price by 1%. As compared with June 2014, the petroleum and diesel fuel prices fell by 10.6% and 9.8%, respectively, and as compared with Jan 2015 they dropped by 9.4% and 11%, respectively.
To note, in June 2015 the consumer market of Armenia saw 1.4% deflation (5.5% inflation versus June 2014). In Jan-Jun 2015 the prices underwent no changes (5.1% inflation versus Jan-Jun 2014).
