VTB Bank (Armenia) jointly with MasterCard payment system is conducting a motivational programme of encouraging its staff

ArmInfo.VTB Bank (Armenia) in cooperation with MasterCard payment system conducts motivational program to encourage employees. According to the press service of the bank, the first phase of the program was held from May 1 to July 1, 2015, and the second started on August 1 and will last until November 1, 2015. The results of the first phase of the incentive program showed a 40% increase in sales of cards Cirrus / Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCardGold.

In the first phase of the motivational program, all employees of VTB Bank (Armenia) realizing sale of MasterCard, received a bonus award, and 20 employees, that showed the best results on the sale of cards, participated in the draw of tourist trips for a couple to a European country of their choice. The winner of the prize was the employee of the customer service department of the branch of "Amasia" of VTB Bank (Armenia) Ani Harutyunyan. In addition, 5 employees who were the most active in the program, have received diplomas from the Bank management.

Under this program there are encouraged employees, specialized in the sales of bank cards and showing professionalism, initiative, commitment and creative approach to business. According to the analytical review of the "Armenian Banks in Card Business" prepared by ArmInfo news agency, VTB Bank (Armenia) is the leader in the number of active cards, which as of April 1 2015, are over 401 thousand  with an annual growth of 24%, of which almost 385 thousand - Visa (including more than 88 thousand pension cards), on which the bank holds the leadership. Bank, becoming a member of MasterCard almost 2 years ago, managed to release more than 16 thousand cards of the system until April 2015, taking the leading position in the top ten. In terms of plastic transactions, the bank is also at the first position - more than 186 billion drams for 2014, with an annual growth of 33%. The Bank as of April 1, 2015, had 298 own POS-terminals and 157 ATMs. Until 2013, VTB Bank (Armenia) issued and serviced only international Visa cards, and then in September of the same year, becoming a principal member of MasterCard international payment system, started issuing and servicing Cirrus / Maestro, MasterCard Standard and MasterCard Gold cards. In addition, the bank also serves local ArCa cards. The Bank has its own processing.
