
ArmInfo. Armenia's gross international reserves grew by 18.9% reaching 1.771 bln USD in 2015. The Central Bank of Armenia has told ArmInfo that in Q4 2015 this index grew by 9%. In Dec,, compared to Nov., growth totaled 14.3%.
According to the source, the foreign assets in the international reserves totaled $1.768 bln growing by 19.2% year over year, amid 8.8% growth in Q4, and 14.8% growth in December. The share of SDR in the IMF dropped by 54% year over year and amounted to $2.9 mln. This indicator demonstrated 7-fold growth in Q4, amid decline by 70.6% in Dec.
To recall, in 2014 Armenia's international reserves declined by 33.8% to $1.489 bln.
To note, the share of bank gold in Armenia's gross international reserves was zeroed in Dec 2003.
