Ameriabank jointly with Ucom launch TV Bank service

ArmInfo. Ameriabank and Ucom Company have announced the launch of a new service Ameria TV Banking - an easy, prompt and comfortable way to pay utility bills. In this light, the two companies held a joint news conference on February 23.

The new service will give the customers of Ameriabank and Ucom an opportunity to pay for the public services through TV, as well as look into the history of utility payments, learn about the foreign exchange rate of Ameriabank, as well as find on the map the location of the bank's branches and ATMs. All these services are free of charge.

The subscribers of any of U!TV packages or Ameriabank's customers can pay for their utility bills keeping their seats. The service is available to everyone. To that end, it is necessary to apply to Ucom's Office. All the future subscribers of Ucom will get the service automatically.

"Ameria TV Banking service is developed jointly with Ucom under the slogan 'Your bank is where it is suitable to you.' Ameriabank and Ucom have worked together previously: co-branding credit card on preferential terms and TV Banking is actually the second joint project. I think it is a common initiative of Ameriabank and Ucom that strive for innovations and will get a wide public response," says Director for Retail Banking Arman Barseghyan.

Ucom LLC was founded in 2007. It is one of the rapidly developing companies in Armenia. Ucom has built the biggest new generation fiber-optic network in Armenia, which gives an opportunity to provide at least three services: Internet, television and fixed- line telephony. As of June 2015, the company has more than 100,000 subscribers. On August 20 2015, by the decision of the Public Services Regulatory Committee of Armenia approved the sale of 100% of Orange Armenia's stake to Ucom Company.
