Areximbank-Gazprombank Group launches “8 gifts on March 8” campaign attached to women days

ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has announced about launch of "8 gifts on March 8" campaign attached to women's days. As the press-service of the bank informed ArmInfo, all women and girls who will obtain MasterCard Standard or MasterCard gold plastic cards in the bank from March 9 to April 7 will be offered a set of 8 gifts.

The set includes: a free MasterCard Standard international plastic card without minimum balance with 1 year of validity. MasterCard Gold card with 75% discount without minimum balance, with 1 year of validity, calculation of 8.7% of annual interest rate in AMD on positive balance on the card, 50% discount on safety deposit box of 75x310x435 size in case of one year rent in the bank central office, opportunity of free overview of the made bank transactions by Mobile banking Services, opportunity of free view of the made bank operations via Internet Banking, discounts in following service centers: Ani Boutique - 7%, Gold's Gym (SPA) - 10%, Plato - 15%, Tibet - 10%, Pixel - up to 20% (accessories) 3-5% (equipment), Sacvoyage -5%.

Those women cardholders who will make the biggest amount of purchases by the cards issued under the campaign will participate in the draw of gifts and ten most active of them will receive Cash Back amounted to 8.7% from the bank. The draw of gifts will be held in May. MasterCard Standard or MasterCard Gold cards are given in all the offices of the bank. According to the analytical review of the "Armenian Banks in Card Business" prepared by ArmInfo news agency, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is in the top ten by the number of its Visa and MasterCard active cards, which totaled around 20 thousand and more than 12 thousand respectively as of October 1, 2015, with 18% y-o-y growth of the first ones and 13.7% drop of the others. In terms of plastic transactions the bank ensured 40 bln AMD by 9 months increasing 25.5% over year. In terms of number of POS- terminals the bank holds 9th position-304, by number of ATMs 10th position-81. In addition to international Visa and MasterCard cards, the bank also serves local ArCa cards (with almost 2-fold decline over 3 years).  Areximbank jointed VISA International in 2002, MasterCard in 2005. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group processing system has been serving ArCa cards as part of the agreement with Armenian Card since April 2009, and started to issue local cards in Q4 2012. In November 2007 "Gazprombank" OJSC acquired 80% of Areximbank's shares. In July 2008, Gazprombank's stake rose to 94.15%, and in September 2008 Gazprombank acquired the remaining 5.85% stake from Raiffeisen Bank and became the sole owner of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group.
