Prices of precious metals dropped sharply

ArmInfo. The dynamics of  prices on precious metals in Armenia changed sharply from growth to  decline. Thus, after 2.6% growth during the previous week precious  metals sharply dropped in prices by 3.4%. This was mainly determined  by sharp drop of prices on industrial metals-platinum and palladium,  amid more moderate decline of gold and silver prices.

The State Depository of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the  Armenian Ministry of Finance has told ArmInfo that the following  selling prices have been set for precious metals for September 19-25:   gold (small bullions) - 20110.26 AMD per 1g (1.4% decline versus the  previous week's 1.7% growth), silver - 288.98 AMD (sharply change of  dynamics from 4.9% growth to 3.6% decline), platinum - 15794.49 AMD  (change of dynamics from 2.5% growth to 4.3% decline), and palladium  - 10014.86 AMD (4.4% decline versus 1.4% growth during the previous   week).

By the data of international stock markets, as of September 22, 2016,  2:47 pm Moscow time, the spot price of 1 troy ounce of gold made up  $1335 (0.01% decline versus September 21), silver - $19.98 (no  changes versus September 21), platinum - $1057 (0.09% up versus  September 21), and palladium - $696 (no changes versus September 21).
