By Dec 2016 metallurgy sector of Armenia experienced 6.3% y-o-y  decline versus  5.2% growth a year ago

ArmInfo. In Jan-Nov 2016,  metallurgy output in Armenia experienced 6.3% year-over-year drop   versus 5.2% growth in Jan-Nov 2015. The ferromolybdenum output in   Armenia rose by 14.3% to 5870 tons. The National Statistical Service   of Armenia reports that in November alone the ferromolybdenum output   made up 608 tons (6.2% less than in Oct 2016).

In Jan-Nov 2016, the output of molybdenum concentrate grew by 1.6% to   9760 tons (down 4.4% to 875 tons in Nov 2016); blister copper output   rose by 11.8% to 11656 tons in Jan-Nov 2016 (up 3% to 1295 tons in   Nov 2016); copper concentrate output grew by 26.2% to 357.5 thsd tons   in Jan-Nov 2016 (down 4.9% to 31.3 thsd tons in Nov 2016).  

The aluminum foil output in Armenia fell by 3.5% to 26210 tons in   Jan-Nov 2016 versus Jan-Nov 2015 (up 39% to 2365 tons in Nov 2016);  the output of steel pipes fell by 24% to 1042 tons (up 19.9%  to 1042  tons in Nov 2016); zinc concentrate output declined by 30.1%  to 7359  tons (down 4.5% to 592 tons in Nov 2016).

All metals manufactured in Armenia are exported mostly to Europe and     the United States.

To note, in 2015 the metallurgy sector of Armenia reduced its output      by 15%.  Particularly, the output of ferromolybdenum dropped by    14.6%, molybdenum concentrate - by 11.6%, rolled aluminum - by  45.7%,  zinc concentrate - by 23%. At the same time, the output of  blister  copper   increased by 18.2%, copper concentrate - by 64.1%,  aluminum  foil - by 1.4%, and steel pipes - by 6.7%.
