Armenian tax payers roster is kept by K-Telecom ( Viva Cell Trde Mark), which in 2016 paid out to the budget AMD 12,8 bln, comprising AMD 710,8 mln paid as custom fees, AMD 7,6 bln as direct taxes ( including revenue tax and profit tax). And AMD 2,6 bln as indirect taxes ( including VAT and excise duty)
In the common list of large tax payers K-Telecom keeps the 8yh position versus 3rd a year ago. Accodring to the published data of Armenian State Revenues Committee, five communication operators paid out to the budget in 2016 a total amount of AMD 31,1 bln, comprising 15,9 bln as direct taxes ( including revenue and profit taxes), and AMD 8,6 bln - due to indirect taxes ( VAT, excise duty)
The second place is occupied by Armenian Telephone Company ( Beeline Trade Mark), which has paid out AMD 12,4 bln, comprising AMD 1,3 bln as custom fees, AMD 5,5 bln - due to direct taxes ( including revenue tax and profit tax), and AMD 5 bln as indirect taxes ( including VAT and excise due). In the common list of 1000 largest taxpayers Armentel holds the 9th position, versus 7th a year ago. . UCom holds the third position, having paid out AMD 4,5 bln, comprising AMD 558, 2 mln as custom fees, AMD 2,1 bln as direct taxes (including revenue and profit taxes), and AMD 652,8 mln as indirect taxes ( VAT and excise due), and keeps this position versus 73th a year ago.
The forth position is under Orange Armenia (joined UCom recently), having paid in total AMD 728, 4 mln, comprising AMD 145,2 mln due to customs fees, 210, 6 mln (including revenue and profit taxes), and AMD 144,7 mln - as indirect taxes ( comprising VAT and excise tax), occupying the 165th position in the common list of 1000 largest tax payers versus 35th a year ago.
And the fifth position is opccupied by GNC Alpha ( Rostelecom Trade Mark) with total amount of taxes paid to the budget at AMD 627 mln, comprising AMD 102,9 mln customs fees, AMD 487, 3 mln as direct taxes (including revenue and profit axes), and AMD 104, 7 due to indirect taxes ( including VAT abd excise dues), and takes the 200th place in the common list of largest tax payers instead of 190th of last year.
To mention, in 2015 five communication operators have paid to the budget a total tax amount of AMD 39,7 bln, AMD 18,6 bln of which is paid by K-Telecom ( Viva Cell Trade Mark). Accoding to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the forex rate of AMD as of 31.12 2016 formed AMD 483,94/USD 1.
