ArmInfo. In 2016, VAT refunding to exporters in Armenia totaled 49 bln AMD, 5 bln AMD more than in 2015 and 11 bln AMD more than in 2014.
The press office of the Armenian State Revenue Committee has told ArmInfo that in 2016 VAT was refunded to 138 businessmen (versus 120 and 96 in 2015 and 2014, respectively). Over the past three years, the Government increased the VAT refunding to exporters by 30%.
"All exporters without any sectoral restrictions enjoy this privilege. However, the procuring and industrial enterprises are the most active," the source says.
