ArmInfo. Suren Karayan, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia on February 10 visited Alex Textile Company. According to the press office of the ministry of Economy shared with Arminfo, Suren Karayan got aware with the manufacturing cycle of the entity.
The Minister reminded also that recently the Ministry of Economy presented the details regarding planned investment projects " We presented the investment package for Armenia per sectors, including the light industry. This company is covered by the project as well," Karayan stated. According to the Minister, all the investment projects will be monitored to discover possible problems and to support finding those solutions within available tools. According to Marat Movsisyan, the Company Director, it is planned to crate up to 350 new jobs within this project . There are certain orders made already at this stage, and the first shipment to Russia is already exported.
To mention, the Alex textile Company started socks manufacturing in 2015. Company's activities comprise two dimensions : socks and textile manufacturing. Starting with 2016, the Company launched also the kids clothes manufacturing.
