Currency component in credit portfolio of Armenian banks continues to dominate by 63.9%

ArmInfo. Credit Portfolio of Armenian bank system, without taking into account prolonged and exceed time limits credits, currency component dominates by 63.9% or 1.443 bln AMD on March 1 2017 with annual growth for 9.3%.

At that, AMD extending credit gets 36.1% or 816.5 bln AMD with annual growth of absolute size for 25.7%. According to Armenian National Statistic Service data the extent of bank credit grew in March 2017 for 12.6% annually, totaling 2/398 bln AMD. Without considering prolonging and exceed time limit facilities provision of crediting bank system of Armenia increased by 14.7% annually totaling 2.260 bln AMD.

Prolonged and exceeded credits in March 2017 formed correspondently 4.35% and 1.4%( versus 5.35% and 2.16% a year ago). Annually the extent of exceeded credits in Armenian bankd decreased by 25/9% totaling 33.6bln AMD in March 2017. The extent of prolonged credits decreased by 8.3% annually, totaling 104.3 bln AMD.
