Pilot program for effective struggle with hail launches in Armenia

ArmInfo. Soon pilot program will  launch in Armenia directed to efficiency increasing with hail  struggle. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan gave correspondent  instruction during the meeting in Government on April 29, where the  issues were discussed related to creating effective anti hail  protection.

According to Armenian Government press-service,  presenting the results of conducted investigation in this purpose,  MES Head David Tonoyan suggested creating complex system of anti hail  protection-together with existing gas-generating alternative to more  effective missile and network protection. As he stressed, according  to research a map of radar-location installments, a list is formed.  At that, David Tonoyan suggested pilot program in Aragatsotn and Lori  areas as a first stage. The Premier instructed to launch pilot  program, paralleling with the efficiency and financial constituent  learning of network safety. 

According to the press office of Republic of Armenia MES, earlier    the Antigrad company implemented appropriate researches due to the   request of Armenian MES, and presented the tools and options of   Armenian hail preventing systems.  The matter concerns first to the   possibility of implementation of automated missile technologies to   decrease the possible damage of agricultural  plants.  According to  preliminary data, every year Armenian agriculture faces losses like  5-6% of the harvest because of hail rains.  To mention, recently  Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan instructed MES  and Armenian  Agricultural Ministry to develop effective approaches in  respect to  hail prevention.
