In Armenia, output of aluminum foil increased by 1.4% in I quarter of 2017

ArmInfo. In Armenia, the output of aluminum foil in the first quarter of 2017 in comparison with the same period of 2016 increased by 1.4% to 7305 tons, against the 9.7% decline the year before. As the data of the National Statistical Service of Armenia testify, the March production of aluminum foil increased by 16.5% up to 2501 tons.

Production of aluminum rolled products for the first quarter of this year is 57 tons, with an annual growth by 19 times, against a decline by 66.7% in 2016. Only in March, the output of aluminum rolled sharply fell from 52 to 5 tons.

To recall, in 2016 the output of aluminum foil fell by 2.1% per annum up to 29 011 tons, against 1.4% growth in 2015. The output of aluminum rolled products in 2016 decreased by 47.7% to 5.6 tons, against 45.7% decline in 2015.
