Yerevan municipality in EBRD discussed cooperation with state-private  sector-community

ArmInfo. Yerevan deputy Mayor Vahe  Nikoyan during the meeting with EBRD representatives and Strategic Center of the Initiatives  discussed the projects directed to activization of investing state  bloc-community-private sector.

He briefly presented the project, prepared by Yerevan municipality  and investment packages. Nikoyan stressed the importance of private  sector and state program cooperation directed to their cooperation,  particularly, the project on elevators fleet repair in the capital,  which is also scheduled to be implemented in tripartite format. 

"Yerevan municipality considers very important the projects aimed at  activization of investing bloc.  Together with European Bank for  reconstruction and development, the municipality already reached  certain goals of municipal scale. Also there are plans for the  future, such as construction of new garbage damps and closing 2 old  ones. Also there is a project, related to the construction of a waste  recycling enterprise, which is possible only with the cooperation of  the state and the private sector. By implementing this program, we  will achieve significant results, "said Nikoyan. The construction of  new underground parking is also planned and rest areas.

The main advisor of EBRD Aleksey Zverev stressed the importance of  municipality involvement in the cooperation project of  state-community-private sector and noted possible solutions to the  problem in tripartite cooperation format.
