Armenia launches regular flight Yerevan-Tel-Aviv

ArmInfo. Armenia air company launches regular flight Yerevan-Tel- Aviv-Yerevan, according to DGCA press service statement made today on May 17, the first flight was made.

The flights will be implemented twice a week-on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight duration 2 hours and 30 minutes. One way ticket price 60 days before the flight will cost 49 euros, but 50 euro customs will be added to that sum. 30 days before the flight there is an opportunity to get roundtrip  tickets for 225 euros.  The price involves 20 kg baggage and 10 kg  hand-laggage.

To recall, on 16 March 2015 "Armenia" air carrier received a  certificate to make regular flights. The relevant decision was taken  during a meeting at the Armenian Ministry of Economy. At present, the  company's fleet includes two Boeings - 737-500 and 737-700, though  the business plan stipulated 6 planes.  The founders of the "Armenia"  air carrier are Ashot Torosyan (51% stake), Tamaz Gaiashvili (25%)  and Robert Hovhannisyan (24%). Tamaz Gaiashvili is the founder of the  Georgian "Airzena" company and the former chairman of the company's  Board of Directors, while Robert Hovhannisyan is the former deputy chairman.
