Armenian deputy Agriculture Minister Robert Makaryan and charge d'affair director of Card Agro Credit UCC Karen Petrosyan signed memorandum on cooperation aimed to implement Financial Lease of Agricultural Machinery - State Assistance Leasing program, Armenian Agriculture Ministry press service informed ArmInfo.
"Already 3 credit organizations and 4 suppliers have joint the program. I think that with so many suppliers and lessors, in view of rather high demand of getting agricuktural equipments for farms will become more accessible," Makaryan said.
From his side, Petrosyan expressed confidence that the program will significantly affect the modernization of the fleet of agricultural machinery, the implementation and use of new technologies. Noting that the company mainly works on the import and supply of tractors from John Deere American company Petrosyan expressed hope that thanks to this program, consumers will be more widely represented this brand and will be able to provide farmers with qualified agricultural equipment.
