Deputy Agriculture Minister got acquainted with the scale of the  damage caused by hail to the farms of Syunik area of Armenia

ArmInfo. Deputy Agriculture  Minister of Armenia Ashot Harutyunyan visited Syunik area of Armenia,  got acquainted with the scale of the damage caused by strong hail to  the farms. 

According to Agriculture Ministry press service, Deputy Minister  visited communities of Goris, Tekh, Khndzoresk, Aravus, Kornidzor,  Nerqin Khndzoresk, Vagatni, Vorotan and Noravan, talked with the  heads of communities and villagers. 

According to the preliminary data, Goris, Tekh, Verishen, Araqvus,  Kornidzor, Nerqin Khndzoresk, Vagatni, Noravan, Svarants, Verin  Khotana were damaged the most-over 60%, and some plots of lands from  80% to 100%. 

According to Harutyunyan's statement, during the meeting with the  villagers, working group will submit the scales of the damage in a  more detailed way, commission will sum up the results and submit them  to the Government. "Despite the fact that in some communities, for  example, in Kirnzor and Tegha, the damage amounted to 80-90%, a good  harvest is expected in the adjacent communities. Let's hope that  nature will not present such unpleasant surprises to us anymore, "the  deputy Minister said.
