ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received the director of the General Secretary office of La Francophonie Jean-Louis Amougou, according to the press service of the Prime Minister.
Karapetyan stressed the importance of development of cooperation with International Organization of La Francophonie and OIF member-countries. In this context, he referred to the preparation process to 17th summit of OIF, which is scheduled to be held in 2018 in Yerevan.
Armenian executive body head assured that the Government will put all necessary efforts to arrange and conduct the event at a high level. According to Karapetyan, the Summit can become good platform of discussing the issues and projects on the development of cooperation between the members of the organization.
In his turn, OIF representative said that Armenia actively cooperates with OIF and assured that the event will be held in the Republic in a best way.
