GDCA: Since June 28 Armenia officially resumes regular flights with Syria

ArmInfo. On June 28, the air communication between Armenia and Syria will officially resume, ArmInfo press secretary of the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia "GDCA" Satenik Hovhannisyan told ArmInfo.

On June 21, a flight on the route Damascus-Yerevan-Damascus took place. The official opening will be held on June 28th. "The flights will be carried out once a week on Wednesdays," Hovhannisyan said. The cost of the ticket for the flight to the GDCA Office did not sound, advising on the formation of tariff policy to apply to the Syrian airline.

The day before, Armenian Ambassador to SAR Arshak Poladyan met with Syrian Parliament Speaker Hadiya Abbas. The ambassador informed that on June 21, Ajnihat Al-Sham air company carried out a test flight on Yerevan-Damascus flight, which will significantly simplify communications between the two countries and give an additional impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
