ArmInfo. The currency interbank of Armenia sharply reduced the volume for 5.5-fold from July 3 to 7, after growing 2.6-fold a week earlier. At the same time, interest in USD transactions on the intrabank currency market, against which the sale of the EUR and the RUR intensified with a minus trend of buying up these currencies, became more active. The exchange currency market still retains "proud silence".
As a result, in the reporting week, the AMD against the USD replaced from devaluation to strengthening - from 481 to 479.5 AMD/USD1, also restructuring and to the RUR - from 8.1 to 8 AMD/USD1, and to EUR from 550 to 547 AMD/EUR1. A year earlier, on July 7, 2016, the exchange rate of the AMD to the USD was 477.3 AMD/USD1, to the EUR -530 AMD/EUR1, and to the RUR - 7.5 AMD/RUR1, which, in comparison with the current rates, indicates the annual devaluation of the AMD to these currencies.
