"Gazprom Armenia" holds leadership among large taxpayers

ArmInfo. CJSC Gazprom Armenia  (formerly ArmRosgazprom) holds the leading position among large  taxpayers, paying 24.5 billion AMD to the state budget in the first  half of 2017, of which 171.9 million - by customs duties, 3.7 billion  - by direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), 20.4 billion -  on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

According to the published data of the RA State Revenue Committee,  the top five leaders paid a total of 71.9 billion drams to the budget  through taxes (with an annual growth of 38.5%), of which 22.5 billion  - in direct taxes (including profit tax , tax on income) and 42.3  billion on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

Second place for the second consecutive year is the Armenian-Canadian  "Grand Tobacco", followed by the "Electric Networks of Armenia",  which occupied the third position a year earlier. On the fourth place  from the 5th year is the company "Alex Grig" LLC. The fifth leader is  Zangezour Molybdenum Combine, which occupied the 17th position a year  earlier. Close to the top five is Geopromining Gold LLC (6th  position, compared to the 15th year earlier), CPSS Corporation (7th  position, against the 9th year earlier), Teghout (8th position, vs. 4  A year earlier), "International Masis Tobacco" (9th position, against  the 11th year earlier) and Philip Morris Armenia (10th position,  against the 16th year earlier).

Tax payments to the Armenian-Canadian JV "Grand Tobacco" to the  budget amounted to 14.6 billion AMD, of which 6.8 billion drams - on  direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), 7.7 billion drams -  on indirect Taxes (including VAT, excise tax). Payments on customs  duties amounted to 1.8 billion drams.

The deductions of "Electric Networks of Armenia" in the budget  amounted to 11.8 billion, including 10.7 million drams for customs  duties, 7.4 billion drams for direct taxes, 4.2 billion drams for  indirect taxes.

Tax payments of the company "Alex Grig" LLC amounted to 11.2 billion  drams, incl. On direct taxes - 1.1 billion AMD and indirect - 9.1  billion AMD. Payments on customs duty exceeded - 6 billion AMD.

Zangezour molybdenum combine paid 9.8 billion AMD to the state  budget, including 776.4 million for customs duties, 3.5 billion drams  for direct taxes, 911 million drams for indirect taxes.

To note, in the first half of 2016 TOP-5 included ZAO Gazprom Armenia  (holding the championship since 2012), JV Grand Tobacco, Electric  Networks of Armenia, Teghut and Alex Grig LLC, in total Complexities  transferred 51.9 billion AMD to the budget through taxes, of which  14.4 billion - on direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) and  38.7 billion on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). (The  calculated exchange rate of AMD as of June 30, 2017 was 480.47  AMD/USD1).
