According to the Minister of Territorial Administration and  Development David Lokyan, according to the law provision of benefits  was envisaged until 2018.  Amending the law, the government will  continue to assist border communities until 2021 on the main points  provided by law. "About 17 thousand farms and 50 thousand residents  of these communities will receive 50% subsidy for gas (within 360  cubic meters per year) and electricity (up to 1440 kWh)," the  minister said. Citizens who do not have the opportunity to use gas  will receive compensation for electricity in the amount of 1,800  cubic meters. m. of natural gas. Residents of the border communities  will also receive a subsidy of 50% and irrigation water.

In general, as explained Lokyan, it is about assistance in the amount  of 1 billion AMD. "Thus, the state will keep all these benefits to  facilitate the possibility of our citizens living in the border  settlements," David Lokyan said.
