Armenia and India will sign an agreement on mutual cooperation and investment protection

ArmInfo. The Republic of  Armenia and the Republic of India will sign an agreement on mutual  encouragement and protection of investments. The Government of  Armenia at a meeting of September 28 approved the relevant proposal.

According to the justification for the resolution, the agreement  establishes general principles for the implementation of investment  activities. It also regulates relations in the field of investment  promotion and protection, compensation for damages, the alienation of  property and the provision of appropriate compensation, settlement of  disputes between the parties to the contract, as well as other  provisions directly related to these relations.

The Republic of Armenia has similar agreements with more than 4  countries of the world.
