I. Telegin: Until late 2017, VTB Bank (Armenia) will increase its retail portfolio to 91 billion AMD

ArmInfo. Until the end of 2017, VTB Bank (Armenia) intends to increase its retail loan portfolio to 91 billion AMD. The director of the Retail Business Development Department of VTB Bank (Armenia) Ivan Telegin stated in the conversation with the ArmInfo correspondent.

In this regard, he noted that the Bank today exceeds the targets set in the strategic development plan. "In the future, we intend to move in the same way," he said.

To ensure such high rates, he said, it is possible due to flexibility and the fact that the Bank constantly develops its services, offering customers new products and solutions that meet their requirements.

In particular, I. Telegin said that until the end of 2017, the bank will install several devices in the city - self- service zones 7/24. At the same time, in the near future the Bank plans to expand the service "Bank at work", which provides for the manager's call to the client's workplace. "In Armenia, this service exists, but has always been, so to say, veiled. And now we will give our clients the opportunity to have a personal manager. The bank is leaving its office today and is already going to the client to ensure maximum convenience. We are going to this, because for us this is a new perspective of service," he summed up.

In addition, he noted that within the framework of the complex program People of Business for employees of budget organizations, VTB Bank (Armenia) is ready to revise the terms of mortgage lending. In this regard, I. Telegin noted that today the "People of Business" program provides an opportunity for the package owners to receive: a free salary card; consumer loans/overdrafts/credit cards with a margin of up to -7% of the Bank's standard interest rate; insurance against accidents on preferential terms; free connection to SMS-banking and Internet banking; up to 3% of the yield on the positive balance of the card.

According to the Financial Rating of Armenian Banks as of July 1, 2017, prepared by IC ArmInfo, in terms of retail lending, VTB Bank (Armenia) is one of the top three with a volume of 80.1 billion drams. In the total loan portfolio of the bank, the retail share exceeds 46%. In the total volume of retail lending, the share of VTB Bank (Armenia) reaches 10.3% on the market. On the consumer loan portfolio, VTB Bank (Armenia) also holds a position in TOP-3 - 65.5 billion AMD or over 12% of the total volume in the market.

VTB Bank (Armenia) CJSC became a participant in the international financial group VTB in April 2004.  At present, VTB Bank, the second largest bank in Russia, owns 100% of VTB Bank (Armenia). The Bank is traditionally one of the leaders of the banking system of the Republic of Armenia in terms of key indicators. VTB Bank (Armenia) dominates the coverage of the branch network, which has 67 branches with presence in the capital and in all regions of the country.
