The Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan received the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in the Republic of Armenia Lucas Gasser on November 21. The parties discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the areas of transport communications and IT.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Transport, during the meeting the sides exchanged views on cooperation in transport and road construction. The interlocutors also considered the program on the introduction of a unified transport system in Armenia and the possibility of participation of Swiss companies in this process. The Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, in turn, presenting the Swiss experience in managing public transport, expressed his readiness to provide details of the implementation of a unified transport system in Armenia to the relevant companies of the Swiss Confederation.
