The dram began to weaken towards the dollar

ArmInfo. The Armenian  interbank currency market increased by 59.3% from November 27 to  December 1 (after a reduction of 13.2% a week earlier), and during  the week large deals were displayed almost daily, except for an empty  Monday. At the same time, interest in the buying-selling of USD and  EUR increased sharply on the intra-bank foreign exchange market, as a  result of which RUR buying became more active with a slowdown in  sales. The exchange market is empty for the seventh month.

As a result, the AMD against the USD for the reporting week began to  weaken - from 484 to 484.5 AMD/USD1, continuing devaluation to the  EUR - from 573 to 577.5 AMD/EUR1 and to the RUR - from 8.2 to 8.3  AMD/RUR1. A year earlier, as of December 1, 2016, the exchange rate  of the AMD to the USD was 480.5 AMD/USD1, to the EUR - 510 AMD/EUR1,  and to the ruble - 7.6 AMD/RUR1, which in comparison with the current  rates for the annual devaluation of the dram it's currencies.
