Based on the results of 10 months of 2017, deductions to the state budget of Armenia on income tax from employees of large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 3.8% as compared to the same period of the last year, which is mainly due to an increase in the number of employees and an increase in the average monthly salary employee. This was reported by the press service of the Committee on State Revenues.
Tax revenue from the royalties increased by 5.5 billion drams, which was due to the growth of prices for metallurgical raw materials in the world market and consistent administration of the tax base of royalties for large mining companies. In particular, taking into account a 1.7 billion dram reduction in the volume of overpayments in the line of royalties, the growth of tax revenues on this line amounted to 7.2 billion drams.
Tax revenues from imports from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union by large and medium-sized enterprises in January-October 2017, compared to the same period in 2016, increased by 15.5 billion drams, excise taxes - by 7.7 billion drams, VAT - decreased by 3 billion drams. But taking into account overpayments for VAT, which decreased by 8.3 billion drams, the growth of tax revenues through the VAT line exceeded 5 billion drams.
During the reporting period, the profit tax increased by 17.2% or 10.4 billion drams, while tax revenues for this tax increased by 1.6 billion drams and a decrease in the overpayment by 8.7 billion drams.
According to the source, tax payments on nature protection and nature management, as well as fixed payments and payments on the acquisition of excise stamps, were increased by 1.1 billion drams, 114 million drams and 312.6 million drams, respectively.
