The Armenian Ministry of Agriculture, together with UNDP (United Nations Development Program (UNDP), is developing an experimental program called "Shares of Social Investments" with a budget of $ 400ty for sustainable development of human potential, Armenian Deputy Agriculture Minister Armen Harutyunyan told reporters on December 19. .
In fact, as explained by Harutyunyan, the Ministry of Agriculture will identify the companies that are most effective in the field of consulting and set clear requirements for them, for example, in the direction of improving the quality of milk and the productivity of the sphere. "If the organization is honored to cope with the task, it will receive payment for the work, otherwise, this work will not be paid," said Harutyunyan. Financing of the program will be $ 400tys, and Armenia will see its first results as early as 2018. Besides the given program, with the aim of improving consulting in the agrosphere, Armenia is working with the Fund for Agricultural Development, as well as with the private sector, which already operates 19 private centers. Within the framework of activities aimed at improving the quality of education of specialists in the field, the Academy of Viniculture EVN and the Armenian Agribusiness Training Center are preparing a project for retraining personnel for greenhouse vegetable growing. At this stage, the question is solved in which region the first scientific and educational center will be opened, where future agronomists will be retrained.
