SRC Armenia continues to identify shadow businesses and increase tax  discipline

ArmInfo. The conducted  operative investigation work of the State Revenues Committee of  Armenia and the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the  RA Police revealed violators of tax discipline and established the  amount of damage to the state. This was reported by the press service  of the SRC.

According to the source, one transport company caused damage to the  state in the amount of 3 million AMD, and taking into account fines  and pennies - about 3.5 million AMD. In particular, before the start  of the activity, this company did not submit to the Tax Authorities a  declaration on the involved transport units - 10 minibuses. In  addition, this company violated the procedure for the written  registration of the recruitment of employees. In total, due to such  examples of violations of tax discipline among companies involved in  freight, passenger and taxi services, it was recorded that 250  million AMD should be paid additionally to the state treasury.

SRC also reports on the disclosure of the sale of alcoholic beverages  without excise duty stamps. In particular, it was revealed that the  guilty company did not submit any applications for receiving excise  stamps for this batch of alcoholic beverages to the SRC, and a  criminal case was opened in connection with this fact. The  investigative department of the SRC is conducting a preliminary  investigation. Recall that according to the Criminal Code of RA the  sale of alcoholic beverages worth more than 50 thousand drams without  excise duty stamps is punishable.
