ArmInfo. On December 26, the National Center for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of Armenia and the Export Insurance Agency of Armenia (ESAA) concluded a memorandum of cooperation.
As ArmInfo was told in ESAA, according to the memorandum, the parties will exchange information necessary to stimulate the export process. It is also planned to organize joint discussions, business meetings, seminars and retraining courses. As a result of joint activities of the National Center for SME Development and its regional branches, small and medium-sized enterprises of the country will be informed about the instruments of export assistance provided by the ESAA. "The Memorandum of Cooperation will facilitate the disclosure of the export potential of SMEs, as well as raising awareness of the activities of the National Center for Small and Medium Enterprise Development and ESAA," the ministry said.
It should be reminded that CJSC "Export Insurance Agency of Armenia" was founded in 2013. by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia with the aim of encouraging exports by small and medium-sized enterprises and increasing the availability of financial resources for them. The National Center for the Development of Small and Medium Business was established by the Government of Armenia in 2002. The activities of the National Center are aimed at creating new SMEs, financial assistance to enterprises, developing their skills, increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of SMEs, and their internationalization.
