ArmInfo. Agricultural and agricultural equipment stations will be used by small and medium-sized farms in the spring of 2018, Executive Director of the Rural Development Fund Gegham Gevorgyan said during a press conference on December 27.
The pilot program, according to him, will start in Gegharkunik and Shirak regions, after which it will be implemented in the remaining areas. In particular, Gevorgyan informed that tractors Case Magnum 310 have already been purchased for irrigation of lands, and seeders for spring works are planned to be purchased in the near future.
It is envisaged that the station will annually provide irrigation to 16 thousand hectares of land.
