For the first time in Armenia, the production of foil has crossed the line of 30 thousand tons

ArmInfo. For the first time in Armenia, the output of aluminum foil exceeded the threshold of 30 thousand tons. According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in Jan-Nov 2017, compared to the same period of the previous year, the production volume was 30,349 tons with an annual growth of 15.8%, against a decline of 3.5% a year earlier.

According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, only in November the output of aluminum foil increased by 0.6% to 3,039 tons.

The volume of output of aluminum rolled products for January-November amounted to 542 tons, which is 97 times higher than the same period of the previous year, against the decline of 47.7% a year earlier.

In 2016 the output of aluminum foil fell by 2.1% per annum - up to 29,011 tons, against 1.4% growth in 2015. The output of aluminum rolled products in 2016 decreased by 47.7% - to 5.6 tons, against 45.7% decline in 2015.
