In this regard, activists of the "Right-Hand Drive" movement announced plans to submit a new package of proposals to the Prime Minister. If the government refuses to take them into account, the movement threatens with new protests.
On January 7, about a thousand drivers held a motor rally in Yerevan demanding to abandon the bill, initiated by the Ministry of Transport, providing for the ban on re-registration of existing and newly imported cars with right-hand drive from April 1. On January 8, protesters held a protest in front of the Armenian government building.
On January 8, the Transport Ministry reported on the refusal of the idea of banning the re-registration of already imported right-handers.
On January 12, Right-wheel activists intend to present a new package of proposals to the Prime Minister, which is planned to be developed jointly with importers of right-hand drive vehicles.
