According to the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia, the annual increase in indicators is due to an improvement in the dynamics of the volume of services in the public catering sector - up to 19.7% growth from a 0.2% decline, professional, technical and scientific activity - to 1.8% growth from 2, 7% decline, the acceleration of growth in health services - from 2.4% to 17.2%, real estate transactions - from 6.3% to 7.7%, information and communication - from 0.1% up to 5.2%, administrative and auxiliary activities - from 2.4% to 11.2%, financial and insurance activities - from 4.4% to 19.8%.
The financial services sector is leading with its volumes of provided services - 274.2 billion drams (20.9% of the total volume), with the lion's share being banks. The second place in terms of services is occupied by the sphere of culture, entertainment and recreation - 260.4 billion drams (19.9% of the total volume) with annual growth of 22.7%. The third place is occupied by the sphere of information and communication - 208.6 billion drams (15.9%), with the main load accounting for the telecommunications segment. The fourth place is up to the transport sector - 176.8 billion drams (13.5%), with an annual growth of 14.6%. The top five in terms of services provided is the sphere of catering and tourism - 101.6 billion drams (7.57%), with an annual decline of 19.7%.
