AMD strengthened against the dollar in January 2018 by 0.2% with  inflation of 2.6%

ArmInfo. AMD strengthened  against the dollar in January 2018 by 0.2% against a background of  consumer price growth of 2.6%. Compared to January 2017, the dram  strengthened against the dollar by 0.7%, while consumer prices grew  by 2.6%. As reported to ArmInfo in the National Statistical Service  of Armenia, in January 2018 the average calculated rate was 482.4 AMD  / $ 1, against 486 AMD / $ 1 - in January 2017 and 486.04 AMD / $ 1 -  in January 2015.

In January 2017, consumer price growth of 2.6% was accompanied by a  devaluation of the AMD to the dollar by 0.7%, and in January 2016,  consumer price growth of 2.2% was accompanied by a devaluation of the  dram to the dollar by 0.6%.

On February 13, 2018, at the retail currency market of Armenia, AMD /  USD was formed on the level of 482.8 drams / $ 1 on average, against  486.8 AMD / $ 1 a year earlier (February 13, 2017) and 484.5 AMD / $  1 as of December 29 2017.
