Business Bank "Otkritie" in Moscow and Moscow region will be headed by the Director General of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev

ArmInfo. Business Bank  "Otkritie" in Moscow and the Moscow region will be headed by the  Director General of VTB Bank (Armenia), the head of the Directorate  of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev. This was announced during a press  conference on January 21 in Yerevan by Vladimir Verkhoshinsky, board  member, deputy head of the Global Business Line of Retail Business of  VTB Bank (PJSC).

"We thank and say goodbye to Yuri Gusev, who has been working for 9  years at VTB Bank of Armenia, and for 6 years he headed one of the  main banks of VTB Group. Gusev decided to return to Russia, where he  will head the Moscow business bank "Otkritie".

Yuri Gusev was born on April 4, 1980. He has two higher education:  technical and economic. In the VTB Group since 2008. Previously, from  2009 to 2012, he held the position of Director of the Financial  Department of CJSC VTB Bank (Armenia). In 2009 he worked as the head  of the Financial Department of CJSC VTB Bank (Armenia). From 2008 to  2009 He worked at OJSC VTB in the Department of Subsidiary Banks. In  2006 he worked in the consulting company OTP Ltd., specializing in  the creation of financial systems in the banking sector. Since 2005,  he started his professional activity in OJSC Bank ZENIT.

Bank , a member of the 20 largest banks in Russia, fell  under the redevelopment of the CBR in August last year. According to  RBC, the Bank's reorganization is under a new scheme - with the  participation of the Central Bank as an investor using funds managed  by the Central Bank of the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund (FCCC).  The reasons for the worsening of the financial situation of the bank  the Central Bank called a risky business model, lending to business  owners, an unsuccessful rehabilitation of the Trust bank, as well as  the acquisition of Rosgosstrakh and a number of related assets. To  maintain the liquidity of the bank, the Central Bank sent a record 1  trillion rubles. The authorized capital of the FC in  November 2017 was reduced to 1 ruble, and in early December the  regulator bought 99.9% of the shares of FC Opening in the additional  share issue for 456.2 billion rubles. As of January 1, the capital of  FC Otkrytie was 129.5 billion rubles. Since 2018, the chairman of the  board of "FC Opening" was headed by VTB24 Mikhail Zadornov.
