ArmInfo. The Armenian government approved the application of HELLO LLC for exemption from import customs duty for the import of technological equipment, their components, raw materials and materials. The resolution on this was approved at a government meeting on March 1.
According to the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan, the company, which carries out activities in the field of light industry, plans to invest about 106 million drams within the framework of the investment program.
According to official statistics, the volume of Armenia's industrial production in January 2018 by the same period of 2017 increased by 13.9% (against growth of 12.2% a year earlier), making 128.3 billion drams ($ 265.8 million). At the same time, significant growth was recorded in the production of other non-metallic mineral products (4.3 times), machinery equipment (4 times), chemical products (2.6 times), furniture (2.5 times), clothing (2, 3 times).
