The National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo that in February 2018 the average calculated rate was 481.4 AMD / $ 1, compared to 486.5 AMD / $ 1 in February 2017 and 493.64 AMD / $ 1 in February 2016.
For February, 2018, the dram strengthened to the dollar by 0.2% with deflation of the demand by 0.5%. A year earlier, in February 2017, the deflation of the demand by 0.9% was accompanied by a devaluation of the dram to the dollar by 0.1%.
In January-February 2018 inflation was 2.4%, accompanied by a 0.4% increase in the dram against the dollar, while a year earlier, against a background of inflation of 1.7%, the devaluated devaluation against the dollar by 0.8%.
At the retail currency market of Armenia, AMD against the dollar strengthened to 481.3 AMD / $ 1 on average on March 6, 2018, against 484.5 AMD / $ 1 on December 29, 2017 and 486.8 AMD / $ 1 on March 6, 2017.
