ArmInfo. Armenian Agriculture  Minister Ignatiy Arakelyan discussed with Chairman of Converse Bank's  Board Armen Ter-Tachatyan and member of the Board Juan Carlos Ozcoidi  pilot program on agricultural lending, the press-service of the  ministry informs.

ArmInfo. Adhering to the policy of transforming Converse Bank into a leading technological bank, as well as continuing the strategy of shifting provision of banking services to electronic platforms, Converse Bank has launched a new payment portal, which allows making of various types of payments through a single internet platform.

ArmInfo. Converse Bank has  not only participated in EBRD TFP Trade Finance Forum in  Frankfurt-am-Main - Germany on 19-20 September 2016, but also came  out as a sponsor of the event, Converse Bank's press-office told  ArmInfo.  The event brought together more than 180 participants who  discussed the development of trade finance in the countries EBRD is  presented in, amid instability on the financial markets. In addition,  the participants discussed problems of money laundering and  possibilities to create a single information platform against  terrorism financing. The event discussed the influence of the new  Silk Road on the development of trade finance. 

ArmInfo. Converse Bank has  replenished its authorized capital by 7 bln drams on the first stage  ensuring normative total capital on the level of 28 bln drams.  Majority shareholder Advanced Global Investments LLC has paid in 6.6  bln drams, while the remaining 0.4 bln drams were ensured by Mother  See of Holy Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the press-service of the bank has  told ArmInfo. The authorized capital has been replenished via direct  investments and the shares in the capital remained the same: Advanced  Global Investments LLC - 95% and Echmiadzin Cathedral- 5%.

ArmInfo. Converse Bank has improved the terms for its student loans "My Future" and "Express." According to the Bank's press-office, the student loan "My Future" (https://www.conversebank.am/hy/im-apagan/) offers financing for the entire period of education. The maximum amount of the loan is 4 million drams, with a 4 year-maturity. The amount is transferred to the account of the student's educational establishment in two stages - once in 6 months.
