ArmInfo. The assets of Ameriabank will reach 100 bln drams by the end of 2009, Chairman of Directorate-Director General of Ameriabank Artak Hanesyan told journalists today. He also added that the volume of the credit investments of the bank amounted to 47.6 bln drams and if by the end of the year the bank manages to allocate several proved credits at 2.5 bln drams, in that case the bank will end the year of 2009 with the credit portfolio at least 50 bln drams.
He also said that the volume of deposits of Ameriabank will reach 75-80 bln drams by the end of the current year. The net profit of the bank may reach 1.5 bln drams by the end of the year. According to the Ranking of commercial banks of Armenia, prepared by ArmInfo, as of 1 October 2009 the assets of Ameriabank amounted to 93 bln drams (the 7th position in the banking system). In their structure the share of the credit investments was 48,6%. The lion's share of credits (about 83%) was directed to economy.
