 
By preliminary data of Armenian Central Bank provided to ArmInfo by the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the share of deposits of non-residents was 20.1% (0.2% growth in November and almost doubling in Jan-Nov) or 128.8 billion drams, including 7.2 billion dram deposits in drams (17.4% decline in November and 32.2% decline in Jan-Nov 2009). The share of deposits of non-residents in foreign exchange totaled 121.6 billion drams (1.5% growth in Nov and almost doubling for Jan-Nov 2009). Deposits of residents made up almost 80% of total or 511.6 billion dram including 167.5 billion drams deposits in terms of Armenian dram (1% decline in Nov and 22.8% decline for Jan-Nov 2009). Deposits of residents in foreign exchange totaled 344.1 billion drams (3% growth for Nov and almost doubling for Jan-Nov 2009). The share of call liabilities in deposits of residents was 39.4% or 201.4 billion drams (1.4% decline in Nov and 19.6% growth in Jan-Nov 2009), the share of time deposits was 60.6% or 310.1 billion drams (3.7% growth in Nov and 41,3%fpr Jan-Nov 2009). Call liabilities in drams fell 1.5% in Nov and grew 5% for Jan-Nov 2009 to 104.8 billion drams, whereas call liabilities in foreign currency fell almost 1.3% in Nov and grew 41% in Jan-Nov to 96.6 billion drams. Time deposits in drams fell 0.04% in Nov and almost doubled for Jan-Nov totaling 62.6 billion drams, whereas time deposits in foreign exchange grew 4.8% in Nov and over doubled for Jan-Nov totaling 247.5 billion drams.
Balance of population deposits as of December 1 2009 totaled 282 billion drams growing 2.4% versus October and 39.3% per year. Time deposits of the population grew 3.3% for November 2009 and 41.6% per year totaling 211.8 billion drams. Interest rates on deposits in terms of Armenian dram were up from 8.24% to 8.59% over November, which was 0,88 percentage points higher than in January.
