The volume of crediting by credit companies reduced by 11,3% in 2009


ArmInfo. The volume of crediting by credit companies reduced by 11,3% in 2009 as against 2008 having amounted to 36.4 bln drams.

As ACRA National Credit Bureau reported, the number of credits given by the credit companies in Jan-Dec 2009 reduced by 17,3% having amount to 54246 credits if compared with 2008.


As of 1 January 2010, there was the information at ACRA about 2.5 mln repaid and 638 thsd current credits as well as 962.3 thsd credit histories (18.2 thsd of which are histories of legal persons and 944.1 thsd - individual persons).


To note, as of 1 January 2010 27 credit companies were acting in Armenia, 4 of which - the leasing companies, 22 - universal credit companies and 1 - credit union.
