Armbusinessbank increased credit portfolio in 2009 almost thrice

According to the source data, the bank's total capital as of January 1, 2010, made up 16.405 bln drams, with 2,4-times annual growth. The bank's authorized capital grew over 2009 2,7 times to 13.440 bln drams. The bank's accumulated profit as of January 1, 2010, made up 2.795 bln drams. ABB's net profit upon the results of 2009 made up 1.001 bln drams, having exceeded the indicator of 2008 by 18,6%. The bank's liabilities as of January 1, 2010, made up 99.5 bln drams, having increased 2,7 times per annum. 23,3% or 23.2 bln drams in the structure of liabilities fell on the time deposits, that exceeds the indicator of 2008 almost twice.

To note, ABB's shareholders in 2006 were: Ukrprombank LLC (35%), Alfa-Guarant Ukrainian Insurance Company (35%) and Christie Management Company, registered in the offshore (30%) and belonging to the big Ukrainian businessmen of Armenian origin. The bank's shares were distributed in 3Q, 2009, as a result of which Alfa-Guarant Company left the shareholders' staff, Ukrprombank reduced its share to 13,01% and Christie Management increased its share to 86,99%. At late, 2009, Ukrprombank announced sale of its share in ABB's capital, and Christie Management offered to acquire this share.
