6,8% reduction of crediting volume by Armenia's credit companies in January 2010
ArmInfo.The volume of crediting by Armenia's credit companies in January 2010 reduced by 6,8%, as compared to January 2009, to 851.4 mln drams.
As ACRA National Credit Bureau told ArmInfo, the number of credits, provided by credit companies in January 2010, reduced by 0,6% per annum to 2613 credits.
According to the source data, an information about 2.6 mln repaid and 635,000 current credits, as well as 962.2 thsd credit histories (18,000 of which are the histories of legal entities and 924.2 of individual persons) was available in ACRA Credit Bureau as of
February 1, 2010.
To note, as of January 1, 2010, there were 27 credit companies functioning in Armenia, 4 of which are leasing companies, 22 - universal credit companies and 1 - credit union.
To recall, ACRA Credit Reporting bureau of credit histories has been created in 2004 by Credential Inc. Its shareholders' staff currently includes Armenian Central Bank, owning 10% shares, 17 commercial banks, the First Mortgage Company, American Dun & Bradstreet
International LTD and other companies. 22 commercial banks of Armenia and the majority of credit companies use the services of the company.
